A Memo in Response to Bullying

Bullying might be the most important issue in youth athletics today. No student athlete should feel left out, insulted, hazed or otherwise abused by their classmates for any reason. Schools, teachers, athletic directors and coaches must be careful to nip any bullying reported to them in the bud before somebody gets hurt, emotionally or physically.

Bullying is also very possibly actionable. This paper, linked below, is a faux memo from KIN 854. It addresses the issue of bullying from the perspective of a head coach seeking to establish and enforce anti bullying policies in district athletic programs.
